The Office of the Controller continues to improve and refine Workday Worktag functions based on user needs and feedback. The latest improvement: dividing Project Worktags and converting some into new Financing Source Worktags.
“Several departments needed to use more than one Project Worktag type for their request, but in the previous interface users could not select multiple options,” said Terri McLaggan, Accounts Payable and Corporate Card manager. “Turning some Project Worktags into the new Financing Source Worktags was an easy way for the Office of the Controller to make Workday easier to use and more functional.”
While Worktag names will remain the same, the type has changed for some.
“If your Project Worktag was converted to a Financing Source Worktag, make sure you select the Financing Source Worktag Type in future requests,” McLaggan advised. “Otherwise, submissions could be returned for Worktag corrections.”
