Metropolitan State University of Denver programs and departments are invited to participate in Spring MSU Denver Welcome Week, Jan. 17-19. The celebration is intended to welcome, acclimate, celebrate, and prepare Roadrunners as they start the new semester at MSU Denver and the Auraria campus.
The week will include activities, food, giveaways and MSU Denver swag. The co-curricular programs will connect new and returning Roadrunners with their peers and the greater MSU Denver campus.
How staff and faculty can get involved
Staff Assistance
Roadrunners are needed to help make spring Welcome Week a success. To staff a shift, signup here by Jan 6. The committee thanks you in advance.
Host an event
Engage and connect with students by hosting an open house, mixer, or meet-and-greet. This can be an opportunity for students to engage with your department and familiarize themselves with your office, staff, and resources. If your department does not prefer to host an event and rather host a table during the Welcome Week Student Org Carnival, reserve a table here.
Promote your event
Send event details here no later than Dec. 16.
Please include:
- Date and time
- Location
- A brief description
- Event flyer
This will allow the Welcome Week committee to add event details to the Welcome Week 2023 schedule and website and highlight your area and program.

The Welcome Week Committee requests feedback to make Welcome Week 2023 engaging and successful for the MSU Denver community.
