Student success is the grand prize from the annual Metropolitan State University of Denver Day of Giving on March 20.
Faculty and staff members can support the campus area they are most passionate about by making a gift online or enrolling in/increasing their monthly payroll deduction. Your Day of Giving support is the winning answer that will help the University reach its goal of 1,400 donors.
You can contribute to a successful Day of Giving by:
- Making a gift to a featured Day of Giving project.
- Supporting the sixth annual Roadrunners Athletics Giving Challenge with a gift to help your favorite sports program score bonus funds.
- Inspiring others to contribute to the Philanthropy Fund at any time. These gifts will be used to set up match and challenge gifts for featured Day of Giving projects.
- Signing up as a Day of Giving advocate to spread the word on social media. You could win big in two ways:
- Registered advocates who bring in five Day of Giving gifts will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a Nintendo Switch Lite.
- Registered advocates who bring in seven Day of Giving gifts will receive a MSU Denver scarf.
- Participating in events on Day of Giving.

Day of Giving event schedule: March 20
All events are free. Events include food and opportunities to win money for the campus fund of your choice.
Day of Giving Telethon: Join the fun by tuning in from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. to learn about some of our featured projects, hear from special guests and watch fellow Roadrunners get in the game-show spirit.
E-Sports Tournament: The third annual Day of Giving E-Sports Tournament will feature Tetris and take place from noon-3 p.m. in the Roger Braun Multicultural Lounge in Tivoli Room 355. Winners will get to designate funds to any campus area. Register today.
Day of Giving Village: Visit the MSU Denver Day of Giving Village from noon-4 p.m. to talk with students who are fundraising for campus groups and clubs and help them earn bonus funds for their Day of Giving page. Register your campus group or project today to participate.
