Student Employee Appreciation Week has begun

Learn about the incredible collective impact student employees have on the University’s mission.

Fun fact: Metropolitan State University of Denver’s workforce currently includes more than 1,200 student employees. Together, these dedicated Roadrunners collectively contribute more than 490,000 work hours each semester, according to the Human Resources student employment team, all while remaining committed to their studies and being excellent representatives for the University.  

To celebrate the great work of student employees, student employee supervisors are encouraged to support and observe National Student Employee Appreciation Week. The following events organized by the Classroom to Career Hub are open to student employees only, and supervisors are encouraged to create flexibility to allow student employees to attend. Student employees who take part in the festivities will also be entered into a raffle for a chance to in MSU Denver swag and Starbucks gift cards!

Tuesday: Dazbog Day 

10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. 

Dazbog 

Student employees get a free small or medium coffee from Dazbog. 

Wednesday: Wellness Day 

11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. 

Jordan Student Success Building, room 400 

Students can grab a free healthy lunch and learn about wellness resources on campus. 

Thursday: Pics and Pizza 

Noon-2 p.m. 

JSSB Mezzanine 

An opportunity for student employees to wear their Roadrunner Red gear, network with fellow student employees and enjoy pizza before taking a student employee group photo.
