The Metropolitan State University of Denver Homecoming Committee invites you to join the University community this fall for a celebration of Roadrunner spirit during Roadrunners Take Flight: Homecoming 2022 from Sept. 26 to Oct. 1.
The committee has planned a week of exciting activities guaranteed to keep you connected to fellow Roadrunners, including a pancake breakfast, movie night, Mug Club Happy Hour, opportunities to get Rowdy with Roadrunners Athletics and more — there is something for everyone!
Register today for the following events:
- Blockchain lecture with Charles Hoskinson — Charles Hoskinson, co-founder of blockchain-engineering company Input Output Global Inc., will speak on the future of blockchain in the banking industry.
- Office-decorating contest — Get your office in the Roadrunner spirit by registering to participate in this year’s office-decorating contest! Judging takes place Sept. 28 from 1-3 p.m. The winning office receives free tickets for the office, family and friends to the Roadrunners’ volleyball match Oct. 1, along with a catered meal, beer, wine and a Roadrunners Athletics T-shirt.
- Women of MSU Denver networking event — This year’s event includes a fireside chat with Bree Davies and Kelly Brough, former University chief strategy officer and current Denver mayoral candidate, followed by a networking reception.
- Homecoming tailgate and party/Cornhole Tournament — Register to join fellow Roadrunners for music, food and yard games during this free family-friendly event. Be sure to also register for the Cornhole Tournament for a chance to win a cash prize.
- Roadrunners 5K — Runners, joggers and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to tackle the Auraria Campus race course. Registration includes a T-shirt, entry into a prize drawing and breakfast burritos and a mimosa bar following the race.
- Road Riders Homecoming Ride — Join the MSU Denver Road Riders for this year’s Homecoming group ride. All ages and abilities are welcome, and you don’t need to be a Road Riders member to participate.
