The Addams Family” musical at MSU Denver revolves around Gomez and Morticia Addams’ only daughter, Wednesday, and the conflict she faces as she falls in love with someone who doesn’t share her family’s macabre sensibilities. Breakout star Chloe Price, 18, who plays Wednesday, said what really appeals to her about the play is Wednesday’s demeanor.

“I love how Wednesday is very comfortable being different,” Price said. “It wasn’t something that ever needed to change for her, and I really like that because a lot of women in media are portrayed in a similar way but Wednesday is really different from the norm.”

“The Addams Family” runs from Feb. 27-March 1 and March 6-8 with all shows at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee March 9 at 2:30 p.m. in the Eugenia Rawls Courtyard Theatre. Tickets are free for MSU Denver students, $11 for MSU Denver faculty and staff members and $21 for the general public.
