Bring Your Child to Work Day

Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Office of Human Resources is hosting Bring Your Child to Work Day on April 28. The event is an opportunity for children to learn about MSU Denver and the work their parents do and to experience being a part of the Roadrunner community. Bring Your Child to Work Day helps empower youth and promotes curiosity through exploration of the workforce.

The MSU Denver community is invited to work as a team in helping to plan, host and coordinate Universitywide activities for employees’ children to have the best experience possible.

The University plans for around 100 children to participate and is focusing on creating engagement through activity packets. The planning meeting will discuss the packets, the communication plan for the event, supplies needed and organization for packet distribution.

MSU Denver is aiming for record-breaking participation, which involves expanding activities and access for children in attendance. The planning team will help determine the activities and what that would entail.
