In partnership with the Center for Multicultural Engagement and Inclusion’s tri-institutional welcome events, Metropolitan State University of Denver is hosting its first-ever University Welcome Week on Aug. 22-25.

The Office of Student Affairs is working diligently to welcome students to campus and amplify Roadrunner pride during the first week of classes. The office has a few more slots for volunteers on the north and west side of campus.

Freebies for volunteers

Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt and can expect to hand out flyers, answer any questions that students may have and help students find buildings and understand building codes.

Events schedule

There will also be an array of activities during Welcome Week on the Jordan Student Success Building Lawn where faculty and staff members are welcome to join in and interact with students. Activities include free food, “Pizza with the President”, movies and more. The full schedule of events can be found here.
