Gloria Steinem, the pioneering writer, political activist and second-wave feminist organizer, will be the featured guest in the next installment of Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Presidential Fireside Chat series.
The event will take place Monday at noon and will be livestreamed from Steinem’s New York City living room to a live watch party in the Center for Advanced Visual and Experiential Analysis Theatre on campus. Students and faculty, staff and community members are invited to attend the free event or watch live online.
The conversation will explore the power of community, a shared theme for both Steinem and MSU Denver President Janine Davidson, Ph.D., and will offer insight into Steinem’s decades of work as an organizer and advocate for equality and justice.
Attendees in the CAVEA will also have the opportunity during the event to submit questions, which will be answered live by Steinem and Davidson.
