The latest on the Simulation Labs project and remember that administrative-staff members must complete Workday actions.

Dear Roadrunners,

I can’t believe how quickly summer break is flying by. This week, I’m excited to share progress on the Simulation Labs project and to offer some key Human Resources reminders.

Administrative-staff members: Complete two Workday actions by Friday, July 21

  • Any promotion or increase in salary on or prior to June 30 is eligible for the across-the-board pay increase in fiscal 2024.
  • The employee must have been employed as of June 30 and July 1 to receive the across-the-board increase.

Classified-staff members:

  • State-approved 5% across-the-board increase became effective July 1.
  • The 5% salary increase was based on the employee’s base pay as of June 30.

Convocation

Don’t forget to RSVP for Convocation, which is Aug. 17, for a fun evening welcoming new Roadrunners to the flock in their first University event. The evening event will feature food, games, prizes and more, including opening remarks from President Janine Davidson, Ph.D., and words from this year’s keynote speaker, author Dudley Thurmond. I hope all employees can attend.
