Is improving your cooking skills one of your 2025 goals? Jump-start your wellness journey by enrolling in one of Metropolitan State University of Denver’s healthy-cooking classes and take advantage of the employee tuition benefit. These five-week courses focus on hands-on techniques to create nutritious, flavorful meals that support specific health goals.

“Cooking your own meals lets you choose your ingredients and how they’re prepared,” said Jennifer Watson, Ph.D., a registered dietitian and assistant professor in the School of Hospitality. “If your doctor or a dietitian has recommended a healthier approach to eating, these classes can help you adjust your favorite recipes while learning new techniques to improve your overall health.”
