The paid opportunity is open to students from all majors and disciplines who are interested in public services careers.

Faculty and staff members are highly encouraged to share information about the Presidential Federal Internship Program with students. The program offers a unique opportunity for students to live and work for the summer in Washington, D.C., exploring careers in public service. Students will serve with a D.C.-based government official, federal agency or nongovernmental organization, with access to countless meaningful professional-development engagements.

The highly coveted opportunity is open to Metropolitan State University of Denver students from all majors and disciplines who are interested in a career in government service, the nonprofit sector or other fields of civic engagement. Participation will provide students with the skills necessary to succeed in many career pathways, while supporting the governmental process or the important work of community organizations.

The application period will close Oct. 20 at 11:59 p.m.
