Laurel Lane, M.A., Marketing lecturer, spoke with WalletHub about how auto-insurance companies use celebrities to influence consumer choices and foster loyalty in a competitive market, while ensuring that they adhere to transparency regulations.

Erin Roberson, M.S., Earth and Atmospheric Sciences affiliate professor, spoke with LaVoz Colorado about the potential role of climate change in the intensification of storms such as hurricanes Helene and Milton, warning that inadequate action could lead to increasingly severe weather and more fatal events.

Lorenzo Trujillo, Ed.D., Mariachi program affiliate professor, interviewed with Conexion Latina about the revival of mariachi in Denver and the role that All-State Mariachi and MSU Denver have played in supporting this resurgence. (Segment starts at 10:30.) A RED story contributed to the coverage.

Jeremy Castle, Ph.D., Political Science professor, interviewed with Denver7 to discuss the growing impact of social issues on political differences between men and women. He noted that events over the past decade — such as Donald Trump’s election, the Women’s March and the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade — have driven this shift.
