Metropolitan State University of Denver’s annual Universitywide Employee Engagement Survey is set to open Feb. 12 – 26 . The insights you provide will be critical to the University’s effort to be a desired place of employment in Colorado, in alignment with Pillar V of the 2030 Strategic Plan.
This year’s survey will be developed and distributed to all faculty, staff and student employees by MSU Denver’s Human Resources and Strategy teams rather than the external vendor Energage, which conducted last year’s survey. This move enables a more detailed and customized approach to understanding work experience, engagement and leader effectiveness.

“Our employees are the heart of MSU Denver,” said Charles Kibort, director of Human Resources Operations and Strategy. “This survey is a vital tool for hearing from our faculty and staff, guiding meaningful changes that create a thriving workplace and fueling excellence together.”
Driving action and results
The feedback you share has a tangible impact, Kibort said, adding that action plans developed from the results of the previous employee survey are already driving improvements across the University. Why your participation matters
Survey participation informs leadership decisions, but it also reflects employees’ shared commitment to MSU Denver’s CADRE values. “Together, we can ensure that our workplace remains a place where everyone feels valued, supported and inspired to succeed,” Kibort said.
The survey results are confidential and provided in aggregate. Your demographic data allows HR to partner with constituent and affinity groups to provide solutions for MSU Denver employees to improve engagement and your work experience. Use this job aid to update your information in Workday
