Faculty and staff members at Metropolitan State University of Denver now have a new way to leave their mark on campus.
As part of the ongoing Roadrunners Rise Campaign, which runs through June 30, 2026, the University invites employees to support student success by making a gift to reserve engraved bricks. The personalized bricks will be installed outside the brand-new Classroom to Career Hub and Summit House student-housing building, set to open in 2027.
The initiative marks the first time MSU Denver faculty and staff members have been offered the opportunity to participate in this kind of campus legacy project.
Evann Coad, assistant director of Annual Giving, said the campaign provides a visible way to honor the contributions of University employees.
“Our faculty and staff members are renowned for their generosity and commitment to fostering an environment where students thrive in the classroom and their communities,” Coad said.

“The brick campaign provides an opportunity for them to leave a literal touchstone that will guide future generations of Roadrunners.”
Contributions can be directed to several MSU Denver programs, including Rowdy’s Corner, the Student Emergency Fund, the Classroom to Career Hub and more. Bricks are available in three sizes, and optional commemorative bricks and display cases are also available.
Coad emphasized that the project is both a fundraising effort and a way to celebrate the MSU Denver community. “Whether celebrating your time as part of the MSU Denver family, honoring a friendship or commemorating special memories, a personalized brick allows you to show your Roadrunner pride and become a lasting part of MSU Denver history,” he said.
