Commencement is one of the most meaningful days of the year at Metropolitan State University of Denver, and it takes a dedicated team to bring it to life. Faculty and staff marshals help ensure every graduate crosses the stage with confidence and every family experiences a celebration worthy of the milestone.

What marshals do
Marshals help ensure graduates and their guests have a smooth, celebratory experience. You may:
- Help graduates line up with the correct college
- Assist guests who need accessibility support
- Direct families to seating and key locations
- Guide graduates and faculty as they enter and exit the ceremony
Because many of you have taught, advised and mentored these students, your presence matters.
Regalia information
All marshals are required to rent regalia unless they own their own. Regalia is free for faculty and staff who order through the official link and pick up on campus or on Commencement Day.
Home shipping is available for an additional two-way shipping cost.
