Each year, Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Day of Giving unites alumni, students, faculty, staff and community supporters in a shared purpose: raising critical funds that give Roadrunners access to resources that help them rise.
As we gear up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our annual fundraising campaign on March 19, we need your campus project submissions to make this milestone Day of Giving our most impactful yet.
To be considered for promotion on the Day of Giving, campus organizations must submit a crowdfunding project proposal supporting a campus organization, fund, department or program that includes:
- A brief description
- A fundraising goal
- An explanation of how the funds will be used
Get inspired by successful past projects featured on last year’s Day of Giving crowdfunding page.
Submissions will be accepted through Feb. 19.
Last year’s totals
Over 1,900 donors helped raise more than $400,000 in 2025. Those funds:
- Fed the more than 1,700 students who visit Rowdy’s Corner each month.
- Empowered a summer cohort of MSU Denver students to gain real-world experiences and impact the national service community through the Presidential Internship in Public Service.
- Helped Roadrunners Athletics teams stay competitive despite declining budgets by providing money to purchase new equipment, participate in competitions and support everyday needs.
- Equipped aspiring law students with the tools to succeed through the Pre-Law Program, including the Pre-Law Mock Trial Team and LSAT Prep Support.
