Metropolitan State University of Denver continues its commitment to becoming Colorado’s most desired place of employment by offering competitive, meaningful benefits to employees. Responding to requests from the Staff Senate, the University will pilot a Graduate Tuition Benefit starting in spring and continuing for two years before evaluation. The benefit will cover 50% of tuition costs for up to 9 graduate-level credits per academic year for full-time, benefits-eligible employees.
MSU Denver has for years offered an undergraduate tuition benefit for employees and their dependents. Adding a graduate-level benefit provides employees with a powerful tool for career mobility and equips them with specialized skills they need to grow, said Staff Senate President Ruby Matheny, assistant director of Alumni Engagement.
“Providing these benefits signals an organization’s commitment to long-term employee growth and development,” she said. “At MSU Denver, we’re striving to be a workplace where employees feel deeply valued and invested in. We’re all very excited about this benefit and hope employees are, too.”
