While the Metropolitan State University of Denver rewards package is competitive, it is also complex. To help employees view their benefits and gauge their comprehensive value, a new tool provides a personalized breakdown.
The MSU Denver Total Rewards team believes employees should have a clear understanding of the investment in supporting their success, health, financial well-being and professional growth. That’s why it’s announcing the launch of the Total Rewards Statement in Workday, which is available to benefits-eligible professional staff and full-time faculty employees.
The statement is aligned with the University’s commitment to invest in employees, as outlined in the strategic plan. It includes compensation, University-sponsored benefits, retirement contributions and other employer-paid programs that support employees and their families.
The new Total Rewards Statement will be available in Workday on Friday.

- The statement does not include employee-paid benefits, such as vision coverage or voluntary Sun Life products.
- Amounts displayed reflect a rolling 12-month period and might not align with calendar-year totals.
- To review your current benefit elections, please visit the Benefits section in Workday.

As a member of the Colorado Higher Education Insurance Benefit Alliance, MSU Denver provides a robust benefits package.
Professional staff employees accrue the following leave each month:
- 16 hours of annual leave
- 16 hours of sick leave
Employees and their eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the undergraduate tuition benefit program, subject to plan guidelines and eligibility requirements.
