Election day is almost here, and casting your vote is one of the most critical ways you can contribute to our community. Roadrunners — including some of the most civically engaged students in the country — have a history of getting out the vote. Help do that again this year by using or sharing these voting tips and resources.
Voting tips
- Check your voter-registration status and ensure that everything is up to date. If it is outdated or you are not registered, there’s still time to update it and register to vote. Colorado has same-day registration so that any eligible voter can cast their ballot.
- Use the State Ballot Information Booklet to learn more about the 11 statewide measures on your ballot.
- Visit MSU Denver’s Solution Studio and watch what gubernatorial and U.S. Senate candidates are saying about state, national and global issues.
- Drop off your ballot or be in line to vote by 7 p.m. Tuesday.
- Locate where to drop off your ballot and where you can vote in person.
- Visit the state’s Voter Resources page for more information on voter registration, election dates, issues and ways to engage.
- If you have already voted, securely track your ballot to check if there are any barriers that may prevent it from counting.
