Metropolitan State University of Denver is sponsoring the long-running Westword Music Showcase and asks for volunteers to support recruitment efforts Sept. 10.
Freebies for volunteers
Employee volunteers will gain free access to the event, which features the Flaming Lips, Saint Motel, KennyHoopla, Wet Leg, Cannons, the Main Squeeze and more. The full lineup can be found here.

Near Mission Ballroom, 4242 Wynkoop St.
Volunteers will promote MSU Denver brand awareness and provide information about the University.
Shifts include:
- 3-5 p.m.
- 5-8 p.m.
- 6:30-9 p.m. (tear-down)
