Before employees shift into summer mode, the Early Bird has one important assignment for faculty and staff members and student employees: Take the 2024 Early Bird Reader Survey.
Employees’ anonymous and confidential responses to this survey will help the Early Bird editorial staff to better meet employees’ information needs and make improvements to content and delivery, said John Arnold, senior director of communications.
“Your input will help us improve the stories you see every day in the Early Bird newsletter, and it will also help guide the development of a new, easier-to-use Early Bird website scheduled to launch this summer,” Arnold said. “We’ve got some exciting changes on the way and we look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks about what to expect.”

The Early Bird team last surveyed readers in spring 2022, and 186 employees participated. This year, the team hopes to engage at least 250 employees to ensure that the Early Bird email and webpage meet employees’ information and access needs while offering opportunities for learning, celebration and engagement.
The survey should take about five minutes to complete and is open through May 31. An overview of survey results will be available in the Early Bird in June. Thank you in advance for helping improve internal communications at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
