Metropolitan State University of Denver programs and departments are invited to participate in Convocation on Aug. 15 and Fall Welcome Week from Aug. 19-22. The celebration, sponsored by the Center for Multicultural Engagement and Inclusion and Student Affairs, is an MSU Denver tradition that welcomes, acclimates, celebrates and prepares Roadrunners for a new journey and a new semester on the Auraria Campus.

Convocation and Welcome Week will include a keynote speech by Ryan Harris, a former Bronco turned award-winning broadcaster and bestselling author, as well as activities, food, giveaways and MSU Denver swag.

How staff and faculty members can get involved:

Employee support is essential to help make Convocation and Welcome Week a success. By creating a welcoming environment, students are much more likely to feel at home and continue to be a part of the Roadrunner community.

Volunteer roles at both events include assisting with wayfinding, check-in and cleanup, directing the food line and more. Volunteers can choose their shift location and time through the registration links below.
