The leaves are starting to fall, which means it’s time for the Metropolitan State University of Denver community to step up its sock game during the sixth annual Socktober.
This year, there are three new designs: an athletic sock, a performance crew sock and a business sock. For every gift of $25 ($15 is tax-deductible) that you make to the student-success fund of your choice during Socktober (gifts through Oct. 31), you will receive one pair of limited-edition MSU Denver socks and another pair will be donated to Rowdy’s Corner and distributed to a student in need.
Thanks to our MSU Denver family, last year was the most “sock-cessful” Socktober yet. Nearly 400 donors contributed over $19,000, bringing our five-year total to over $83,000 and more than 3,000 pairs of socks donated.
There’s no trick; treat your feet this October with a gift showing Roadrunner pride down to your toes. Let’s make this Socktober toe-tally amazing and ensure that MSU Denver students have the resources they need to become tomorrow’s Changemakers.

Missed out on previous years’ socks? With a $60 gift ($45 is tax-deductible), you’ll get the 2022 Socktober sock and both 2023 pairs. Plus, three pairs will be donated to students for each package. Availability is limited, so act fast!
