Robert Kenney, president of Xcel Energy Colorado, will join Metropolitan State University of Denver President Janine Davidson, Ph.D., Oct. 30 for a Fireside Chat exploring his background, the future of energy careers and leadership.
Kenney brings more than 30 years of experience in regulatory law, public policy and stakeholder engagement. As president of Colorado’s largest utility provider, he oversees the delivery of electric and gas service to more than 3 million customers and leads the company’s strategic direction in areas such as safety, operations, legislative outcomes and customer experience. , Kenney also collaborates with policymakers, regulators and community stakeholders to guide Xcel Energy’s efforts in renewable energy and transportation electrification.
The event will include a moderated conversation followed by an audience Q&A.
