The seventh annual Metropolitan State University of Denver Day of Giving on March 30 is a way for the Roadrunner community to ensure that our students have the resources they need to POWER UP and achieve their dream of earning a degree.
Last year, 1,148 donors helped raise a record $221,000+, supporting scholarships, special projects, wraparound student-support services, athletics, student clubs/organizations and more. Imagine what we can accomplish when you get in the game this year!
Unlock new levels of student success during Day of Giving by:
- Submitting a crowdfunding-project proposal by March 1.
- Proposals must support a campus organization, fund, department or program. Find examples of successful projects on last year’s Day of Giving crowdfunding page.
- Making a gift on Day of Giving.
- Signing up as a Day of Giving advocate and spreading the word on social media.
- Contributing to the Philanthropy Fund at any time. Your gift will be used to set up match and challenge gifts for Day of Giving featured projects.
- Faculty/staff: increasing or starting payroll deduction during March. Your annual payroll-deduction total will count toward Day of Giving totals.
- Connecting with the Roadrunner community by joining the Day of Giving Telethon, hosted by Brandi Rideout, senior director of Alumni Engagement and director of the Alumni Association. Email Brandi for more information.
