Join the MLK Peace Breakfast and Award Ceremony Jan. 17

Award recipients will be honored at the MLK Peace Breakfast and Award Ceremony, a special event that brings the Metropolitan State University of Denver community together to celebrate the legacy of King and recognize those who are continuing his mission. This year’s event will feature a keynote address by Erika Alexander, actress, trailblazing activist, entrepreneur, creator, producer, director and one of the country’s boldest, most daring and powerful voices. Alexander is beloved for her iconic acting roles including Maxine Shaw on “Living Single” and Detective Latoya in “Get Out.”
