Metropolitan State University of Denver will soon debut a new version of the A-Z Faculty and Staff Directory. The Workday-powered resource is designed to connect the MSU Denver community by providing easy access to up-to-date contact information for all faculty and staff members, including name, photo, department name and link, and email address.
The improved structure will:
- Help students quickly and easily find mentors, collaborators and resources essential to their academic journey.
- Ensure that stakeholders can identify potential partners for projects, research initiatives and community-engagement efforts.
“The A-Z Directory will also help employees build internal connections and strengthen ties with students and University stakeholders,” said Michelle Britt, director of Digital Marketing and Content Strategy. “We urge all faculty and staff members to review and update their Workday profiles, including their photo, name and email address.”
Some changes will be reviewed and approved by Human Resources and/or the employee’s supervisor. Human Resources Job Aids are available to assist with this process.
The next phase of improvements
By January, MSU Denver employees will also be able to personalize their information on the A-Z Directory by coordinating with their department web authors to add:
- Biographies
- Custom URLs
- Classes taught
- Educational credentials
Phase 2 updates will be provided this semester.
