It’s time to prepare for the Metropolitan State University of Denver End of Year Evaluations, which are due June 30.
Performance reviews are used as a tool to reward outstanding performance, provide employees with feedback and highlight opportunities for continuing growth and development.
This process is done once per year with recommended midpoint check-ins to provide formal feedback to administrative staff. However, evaluation should be an ongoing conversation between employee and supervisor, from goal-setting to evaluation.
This year’s performance-management process will include several changes. The Office of Human Resources is aligning these changes with Phase II of the Workday system rollout. Watch the Early Bird for more details.
In preparation for the professional staff End of Year Evaluation:
- All staff members should have set goals with their supervisor.
- If not, use the SMART goal sheet.
- Review additional resources at midyear; coaching templates previously shared.
- Consider training and support opportunities.
