Administrative staff members must complete two Workday actions by July 21

Actions are necessary to ensure success of upcoming compensation equity study.

WorkdayThis fall, Human Resources will begin work on a compensation equity study to review and analyze pay and compensation structures at Metropolitan State University of Denver. The comprehensive analysis will review a variety of data points such as role types, education, experience, skill level, tenure, demographics and more to provide the University with critical information to make strategic decisions about pay structures.

To ensure that this study is productive and effective and results in data-driven decisions, all administrative staff members must complete two new features within the Workday Talent Optimization domain:

  • Employee Profile
  • Work Arrangement

Workday Employee Profile

Every employee has an Employee Profile within the Talent Optimization module. The Employee Profile is a comprehensive view of an employee’s employment where employees can:

  • Highlight their education.
  • Enable language proficiency.
  • Share job history (more coming soon).
  • Promote job interests.

The Employee Profile will play a critical role in the compensation equity study and help managers hire from within and create succession plans for existing employees so they can grow their careers at MSU Denver.

Work Arrangement

Additionally, the Work Arrangement feature allows employees to input their alternative work arrangements (Hybrid, Fully Remote, Fully On-Campus).

Action needed

To enhance our employee data in preparation for the compensation equity study, administrative staff members must complete and verify information in their Employee Profile and Work Arrangement by July 21.

In fall, faculty members will be prioritized and asked to complete these items as well. The data in these profiles is employee-specific and can be managed only by the employee.

ACTIONS REQUIRED:

  1. Verify that your Employee Profile and Personal Information is complete and accurate.
    1. Job aid: Employee Profile
  2. Input your Work Arrangement.
    1. Job aid: Request Flexible Work Arrangement

Watch for an email from Human Resources in the coming weeks outlining important next steps.
