Just a few spots remain in the 2022-23 Association of College and University Educators cohort, which has been completed by more than 100 Metropolitan State University of Denver faculty members.
The yearlong ACUE course supports faculty members in using effective, research-based teaching practices to improve student achievement and close equity gaps. Completion of the ACUE course leads to a nationally recognized Certificate in Effective College Instruction endorsed by the American Council of Education.
What the cohort offers:
- Cohort members explore and implement evidence-based teaching practices throughout the year while participating in a community of learning with their peers.
- Faculty members will develop specific techniques for ensuring equitable access to learning, engaging students in group work, developing transparent grading practices and motivating students.
