Got a list of health checkups you’ve been putting off? The upcoming annual Employee Wellness Fair offers a chance to tackle most of them, without ever leaving campus.
At the fair, employees can receive free health screenings and flu shots and speak directly with employee-benefit vendors.
“This event is a great opportunity for employees to check in on their health in a convenient and supportive environment,” Benefits Manager Kristen Wall Cordova said. “Plus, it’s an easy way to stay ahead of seasonal illnesses before the holidays.”
Free health screening includes:
- Height, weight, BMI and body fat percentage
- Waist circumference
- Metabolic blood test panel: Lipid panel, glucose, TSH (thyroid), CBC (blood cells)
- Fasting is encouraged
Additional services are available for purchase at check-in:
- Blood tests: PSA, A1C, expanded thyroid panel, vitamin D, homocysteine, cardio reactive protein
- Screenings: Bone density, lung function, skin analysis, hearing test
Free quadrivalent flu shots will be available. Bring your Anthem ID card, if available.
