The Metropolitan State University of Denver Classroom to Career Hub connects students to resources that can aid in their academic and career success. Employees are encouraged to share the following resources with students and to learn more about faculty-specific collaboration opportunities:
The program provides peer-to-peer support and strives to enhance the overall student experience for all undergraduate students.
First-Year Student Support
First-year student support and retention is a main focus in the Peer Mentor office. Throughout the year, the team works with first-year students to help them navigate their college experience and create a degree plan, complete FAFSA/CASFA and career inventories, learn about support services such as SingleStop Public Benefits and more.

Career Peer Mentoring
The Career Peer Mentor program helps students with career development throughout their time at MSU Denver. Students who opt into the program are assigned a Career Peer Mentor, who will help them develop and work through a career plan and connect with campus resources.
To refer interested students, please complete the career profile opt-in survey. There are limited spots available for fall.
Faculty and Course Support
This fall, the C2 Hub is working alongside Lunden MacDonald, Ph.D., professor of Modern Languages, and other faculty members in an active–research study, “Student Success Assignments.” Career Peer Mentors — who help students explore major/career interests, participate in volunteer work or internships and prepare them to elevate career progress with job searches — will be assigned to a dedicated course and will connect students to opportunities that will help them fulfill the success–strategy assignments.
Faculty who would like to get involved in the active research study can email Lunden MacDonald, Ph.D.
