LEAD graduates at MSU Denver pose with their certificates in front of a backdrop of the mountains

Ten Metropolitan State University of Denver leaders graduated from the LEAD Leadership Development program last week. Developed by the Leadership and Organizational Engagement team, the program gives University leaders such as directors, department chairs, associate deans and other supervisors tools and knowledge to hone their leadership skills so they can engage with those they lead, facilitate change and develop healthy team culture. The program aligns with Pillar V of MSU Denver’s 2030 Strategic Plan

This was the sixth LEAD cohort to graduate.

“The sessions were overall wonderful and a font of knowledge about the many dimensions of leadership,” said one LEAD graduate. “I’ve been at MSU Denver since 2015, and I still learned so much about our institution through LEAD! The community built in the sessions, and the thoughtful and engaging training offered, has been a big boost to my sense of self as a leader and my commitment to being a long-term Roadrunner. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!”
