When new leaders step into supervisory roles, they’re often experts in their field but not necessarily in leadership. Metropolitan State University of Denver’s LAUNCH program helps bridge that gap. The leadership development program prepares faculty and staff members in supervisory roles to lead with confidence and support emerging leaders across campus.
LAUNCH focuses on building essential leadership skills while aligning leadership practices with MSU Denver’s mission and CADRE values. Participants also build cross-campus relationships with fellow leaders.
The program includes three half-day sessions combining prework, live instruction and action planning. Participants explore their leadership identity, learn strategies to engage their teams and develop personalized leadership development plans.
