Metropolitan State University of Denver is launching its latest reputation-assessment survey to better understand perceptions of the University among employees, students and community partners. The reputational assessment, which takes place every five to seven years, will yield insights to ensure that MSU Denver’s marketing, messaging and outreach strategies continue to effectively reflect the University’s mission and impact.
The survey opens Jan. 27 and will be emailed to all employees and current students.
Why your input matters
The results of the last survey, conducted in 2018, revealed that MSU Denver has shifted from a local college to a leading public university in Colorado. The survey results showed 84% brand recognition. The findings showcased that faculty members, staff members and students had positive perceptions and opinions of MSU Denver. Additionally, brand recognition increased among local business leaders.
“This survey gives us the chance to hear directly from our employees and students about how they view MSU Denver and the opportunities to strengthen our messaging,” said Emalie Whan-Traylor, director of Advertising. “The insights we gain will shape how we tell the story of MSU Denver.”
This year’s survey will explore:
- Top-of-mind perceptions of MSU Denver.
- Awareness of key programs and strategic initiatives.
- Recall of campaign messaging and media channels.
- Insights to move the brand forward.
Next steps
The survey will remain open through Feb. 7. Results and actionable insights from the survey will be shared later in the year.
Be sure to check your email and take up to 10 minutes to complete the survey. Your voice is essential to shaping MSU Denver’s future and amplifying the stories that make our University extraordinary.
