Metropolitan State University of Denver leaders developed tailored action plans last spring to address concerns that employees expressed in the most recent engagement survey. They have since updated their plans with their progress to date.
Each college, school and administrative branch on campus created a tailored plan outlining their efforts concerning opportunities specific to their areas.
The plans and progress updates are available on the Human Resources SharePoint page. If you haven’t yet seen your branch’s action-plan updates or are curious about those from other branches, be sure to take a look. There is also an action plan that includes updates on the University-wide feedback.
“We appreciate everyone who provided feedback via the survey,” said Charles Kibort, director of Human Resources Operations and Strategy. “Initial results showed that many of you feel your work is meaningful and that your manager cares about their concerns, but you also gave us ways we can improve. Now, we’re excited to share our progress on what’s been done.”
For questions about an action plan, connect with your supervisor or contact Kibort.
Another chance for feedback next semester
The next Employee Engagement Survey will launch in February. HR will move away from the Energage survey and bring back its internal engagement survey, which will measure engagement across the University and within specific branches and departments, with an added focus on leader effectiveness.
