Artist and Metropolitan State University of Denver alumna Lisa Lopez Huffman has been working over the past several months to complete a mural at the School of Hospitality. The mural, located outside the school’s administrative offices in the Hospitality Learning Center, reflects the aspects of hospitality taught at the University, while incorporating references to the city of Denver and the campus community.
Faculty and staff members are invited to attend the unveiling event, which will take place Friday from 1 to 3 p.m in the Hospitality Learning Center’s alumni lounge. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the completed mural, learn more about the inspiration behind the artwork and connect with colleagues.
