Thank you to everyone who took up the torch to light the flame of giving and helped the University surpass its goal of 1,400 donors during the eighth annual Metropolitan State University of Denver Day of Giving!
This year, 1,531 donors raised over $269,000, providing Roadrunners with access to top-tier academic and athletic experiences, scholarships, state-of-the-art learning facilities, meaningful wraparound services and campus programs that prepare them for success before and after graduation.
“Each year, the MSU Denver community does an amazing job of showing up to support current and future Roadrunners on Day of Giving — we are so grateful,” said Bre Milnes, executive director of Advancement Communications and Annual Giving.
Fundraising highlights
Roadrunners Athletics raised $98,450 across its teams to help reduce the cost of equipment, travel, uniforms, participating in competitions and more.
“The MSU Denver Day of Giving, and the Athletics Giving Challenge, was once again an outstanding success,” said Todd Thurman, director of Roadrunners Athletics. “I can’t thank everyone who contributed enough. Our sports combined for over 850 donors and raised almost $100,000. These fundraising efforts are vital to the success of Roadrunners Athletics.”
